About
Weidner Experience

Experience is a virtue that requires time and hard work.

Over 30 years of experience in international investment banking taught me to focus on the essentials. In particular to concentrate on only one agenda: Yours.

Complex Corporate Finance projects regularly require a careful consideration of critical issues and conflicts of interest. It is my task to solve them in your very own interest. That requires to make no compromises which mandates I will take on and execute, to completely work in your interest.

WEIDNER ADVISORY is a private business. You will always speak to me personally. With over 30 years in the business at some of the leading institutions in investment banking and over 100 successfully executed mandates in a variety of industries and products, I am by now able to quickly immerse myself into different business models, complex corporate finance tasks and topics, in order to carefully prepare projects and lead them successfully.

My clients will be happy to give you references.

Also, you will neither hear me talking about clients and mandates in public, nor read about it in the press. Discretion is a rare commodity.

Working
Weidner Working

It is the quality of the entire team, that makes the difference in our projects.

My firm is deeply embedded into a strong network of highly professional partners, amongst them investment banks, law firms, communication experts, engineers, IT experts, industry advisors and human resource specialists that match my own high standards. That allows the project team to cover all aspects of a complex corporate finance project and offer bespoke solutions. I strongly believe that the quality and careful selection of your project team is a key ingredient for the ultimate success.

Complex and difficult tasks require seamless teamwork and friction-free execution, likewise between client and advisor but also within the advisory team. I am not only an advisor but also experienced project leader. Straight, professional and always acting on your behalf throughout all project phases, above and beyond the tasks at hand. I strongly believe that only an advisor who has all issues in mind, big and small, can offer convincing and sustainable solutions.

Thinking
Weidner Thinking

A strong partnership can take a no for an answer at times.

Corporate finance transactions almost always create pressure and friction because there is a lot at stake for you as a client. Problem solving under pressure, handling emotions sensibly and always acting in your interest, is part of my job. In over 30 years in this profession, I have learned to withstand pressure and moreover use it to my clients’ advantage. Thus, I would allow myself to say no if I am of the opinion, it is time to do so. Because loyalty means for me, to challenge your individual decisions for the benefit of your defined ultimate goals. However, if the course has been set, I will go with you all the way, down to the last mile. Even when it becomes difficult. Because the core of every transaction I engage in is trust, respect and loyalty.

If this approach is for you, we should talk. What I can do for you, we will both learn in a good, joint conversation.
